Junk Removal

Yard debris, old fencing and leftover junk, hauled off

The pile that has been sitting at the side of the house gets cleared, so the rest of the yard work can end clean.

Chapter 01

Why the pile never leaves on its own

Yard junk collects in the corners. Branches from a trimmed hedge, the last of the fall leaves, a few sections of fence that came down in a windstorm, a stack of things from the shed that nobody wants to carry out. Each piece looks small until it is all one heap along the fence line.

The pile also spoils everything around it. A freshly mowed lawn next to a heap of old boards reads as unfinished, and brush left against a wall holds moisture and gives pests somewhere to settle. It is cleared more easily before it sinks into the grass.

How a haul-off fits the job

The crew treats junk as the last step of the work, not a separate errand. When they replace a wood fence with white vinyl, the weathered boards come out and leave with them. When they clean up a yard, the debris is gathered off the lawn and the beds and taken away, rather than bagged up and left at the curb.

That is how the cleanup under the carport and pergola in their photos finished: the fallen leaves cleared off the ground and out from under the structure. The same idea runs through the fence jobs on the corner lots and side yards, where the old wood is gone along with the old line.

Because the haul-off belongs to the larger job, you do not need to schedule one thing to clear the site and another to build on it.

Chapter 03

Keeping it from piling up again

A yard that stays on a routine rarely builds a heap. If Weekly Mowing or regular property maintenance is already on the calendar, leaves and trimmings go with each visit and the big pile never forms.

When a pile is already there, the simplest way forward is to call (509) 985-4603 from anywhere in Yakima County, Naches and Moxee included. Tell them what is out there, and the free estimate will cover what it takes to clear it.

The weathered wood on a corner lot comes out, and the same corner finishes in new white vinyl privacy fence with the old boards gone.

The fence work itself is on the Fencing page. More finished yards are on the before and after page.

Questions about haul-off

Yard debris, old fencing and leftover junk from a property job are what the crew hauls. It is the haul-off that goes with their cleanups and fence replacements. Describe what is piled up when you call (509) 985-4603 and they will tell you whether it fits.

Yes. When Abel's & Sons swaps a worn wood fence for white vinyl, the old fence is pulled out and taken away as part of the job, so you are not left with a pile along the property line.

They overlap. A seasonal cleanup, like fall leaves under a carport or pergola, clears the yard debris. Junk removal covers the bigger leftovers that a mower and a rake will not move. A free estimate sorts out which one your yard needs.
